Those are some really nice pics. The pictures of the muddy track and the guy pushing the car into the mine addit are very typical Chinese coal mining lines. The electric line looks like it's working a really big mine. I've been to the area with the three bridges in 2002. Unfortunately, it's all going to be submerged when the Three Gorges dam projects are complete in about 2016. :( When I was there, it was a really bad idea to be anywhere near any rail line with a camera. I got a few cell phone shots, but I think the Chinese railroad police are a force of something like 200,000, and most of them seemed to be hanging around me whenever I stood near a track. :)
 
I bet it was neat to see the bridges in person. Kind of ironic that one engineering feat would be covered over with yet another even greater feat of engineering.
