Margaret and I went up to Owosso, MI this past Sunday and took a caboose ride behind Flagg Coal No 75. Since I model the DT&I it was a bonus to ride in one of the Ann Arbor cabooses (DT&I took 6 of these for themselves while they owned the AA). We were in the caboose right behind the 75, it was almost as good as a cab ride since while standing on the platform of the caboose we could almost reach into the cab of the steamer.

While there Margaret had a chance to sit in her favorite seat.....the engineers seat of the Pere Marquette 1225

Brian, great shots. It looks like Margaret was actually happy to be in a steam engine, you lucky dog. :) I've always loved those AA sloped cupola cabooses. I don't know exactly when they were built but I first remember seeing them when I was a kid in the 50's and they looked as cool as those new Caddy's with the tail fins. :D
