Any thoughts on BLI Cal Zephyr cars

I am looking to model a California Zephyr train with the BLI cars and don't have the cars to chase down. Has anyone done any letterboard/initials changing on any of these cars? Can it be done?
 
I don't know if there are any differences in the cars, but MicroScale may carry the decals. I have a BLI RPO (DRGW) CZ car (wish I could afford the other 10 in the consist), and keep an eye out on eBay for the off chance I can pick one up for a reasonable price. The CB&Q roadnames seem to command the lowest price on eBay, but I'm not sure it's enough of a price difference to make up for the cost of decals and time...
