A very small L-shaped layout

Hello Happy Members !
I'm planning to build a very small L-shaped layout (roughly 57" x 59"). The track plan is (more or less) inspired by this layout. I'll run short trains. As always, all your comments, advices and criticisms will be greatly appreciated. You can also laugh if you want !

While playing with Anyrail, I found a plan that was much more fun than the first. Any advices or comments ?

Ok until your train bites it's own butt .. This will of course limit train length.
I liked the first one better, plus it gives you the opportunity to run 2 trains using just one DC controller if wired / switched right.

Yep looks good. You could run up to 3 short trains on one DC controller on that. I assume it is analogue you are using?
( * by isolating the inner and outer tracks and have a switch or push button to turn them on/off as one leaves the other rides in, before turning off the section) I am doing something similar on my layout which should technically be able to run up to 4 using 2 controllers.

*- unless they are power routing points then you can maybe just go with that
