Hello.
Can anyone tell me how can I take off the rods of Rivarossi's Big Boy, please?
Thanks in advance.
Kind Regards,
Juan.
Oh,,, well then perhaps those aren't the correct tool....Interesting, but I want to use the rods again.
Yes, they use small bolts. They are small bolts aren't they?. My Rivarossi cab forward has tiny bolts
I'l take some pictures and I'll post them as soon as possible.Got a close up picture? Some may be press-in pins that have a slight taper on the shank.
This may help. Scrol down and select the "Big Boy" drop down and then select your model year from the list for a parts diagram.

Sorry. It's been a while since last time... Yes, I was able to remove them. Thank you very much to all of you, guys.so whats the progress ?? did you get them removed ??
Thanks a lot!J.I. Morris, in Massachusetts has Morris E-Z socket wrenches. Their current catalog shows a limited supply of #00 through #2 for $15.95 plus shipping. I use mostly #0 for the hex head bolts holding the siderods on my Mantua steam locomotives. Very handy little tool(s).
Thank you!Micro Mark also sells small hobby tools of all kinds.
