Pros: The sound system and good looks
Cons: minimum speed a bit on the high side

straight out of the box the sound system is set at the factory default level which for me wasn't right, way to loud. As i am on DC power supply the sound system is adjusted with the direction switch being operated as per the instruction manual which is full of information. Once the individual sounds were adjusted the "load setting" was adjusted so it replicated my other QSI equipped BLI and P2K locos so they can run together. the minimun sustainable speed was a bit on the high side, my GP20 with QSI runs a heck of a lot slower than this model but maybe it will loosen up after a good running in, i should imagine it will. some of the items on the body like lift rings are molded into the main shell, it would have been nice for these items to be seperate moldings. the white step edging paint is a bit roughly done and could be better. The white LED lights are fantastic, you can even see the engineers console illuminated in the dark. On the whole though this is going to be a great addition to my railroad hauling my 24 car unit coal train round, i don't have enough track down yet to give it a good work out but i will soon

I got this loco from Davids depot in Burbank CA
this is his web site
