Pros:
|
Smooth excellent slow speed operation
|
|
Cons:
|
Only one engine number! Headlight is too dim for me.

I originally purchased a New Haven without DCC and purchased a Tsunami Decoder for about $225. Was going to strip and redecorate as ATSF until Bachmann released this beauty which was available RtR for about 3/4 of what I had purchased the parts, and their unit was guaranteed to work.
I love this little tyke, what a joy to run either on the mainline pulling a consist of 4 Rivorossi 60' heavy weights or using it to poke around the yard.
Excellent slow speed,
Unbelievable sound! (Soundtrax Tsunami)
Excellent detail
Front coupler mounted
I don't like the headlight, it is too dim.
Plastic couplers, why not put the #148's on to start with???
This is one of my favorite locomotives, in fact I am expecting the 2nd one to arrive in the mail TODAY! This is the first steam locomotive I have purchased a second one of.
Obviously I highly recommend this unit.
