Pros:
VERY well detailed, smooth finish
Cons:
takes a while to build, thin parts do break
These care are some of the best covered hoppers I own. They're available in RTR, but I've bought a total of 3 kits so far, because they are cheep now, no one wants to build a kit thats so complex.
The first one I paid $7 USD for, the 2nd & 3rd cost me $5.75 each. For $6 average thats a MUCH better value then an Athearn Blue Box kit.
The kit comes with a one piece body and many many details to add. the airlines and some of the grabs are particularly fragile due to their thin size.
The kits came with Proto 2000 couplers & X2f's plus Proto 2000 trucks with metal 36" wheels on plastic axles. The car rolls VERY freely.
In all, if you're willing to put some time in, these are well worth it, they sell cheap in most places now.

Very well detailed
Cons:
A bit finicky.

I've built one of these and it was very nice. The plastic grabs are fragile and easily broken. I've got several of the timesaver kits in marination as well.
