Pros: Nice Cheep offering
Cons: poor details

Tyco started offering this building in the mid 80's and it was "gone" by the 90's. I picked one up at a model railroad swap meet for $5. The actual product looked little like they picture (as with all Tyco), it lacked the painted window frames, and window glass was never installed. The plastic is one color molded, and shiny.

I've since updated this building quite alot, by adding a rear "delivery door", a side door, and replaced the front doors with slightly more real looking doors. The plastic base was scrapped as were the two red posts holding up the drive through roof. I replaced the drive through windows, and have repainted the whole building a cream color (Burger King's more modern colors).

Pros: A nice cheap offering of a contemporary business
Cons: dated details

This kit was part of Tyco's line of contemporary businesses which I believe also included a Pizza Hut and a Dunkin Donuts. While the building is molded in only a couple colors and includes no interior glazing with a little work it can be a fine representation.

I picked this one up at a train show for about 5 dollars and it occasionally shows up on auction sites.
