Pros: Well detailed, well painted, installed, separately molded grabs
Cons: glossy paint

These cars are GREAT! I love the Athearn RTR line, as most of the cars have separately molded grabs, that are installed & painted to match. The cars came with metal wheels, on plastic axles, with well detailed plastic side frames. The doors even open, though are sticky due to the paint. In my mind, these are some of Athearn's best offerings, just if they were all like this.

I have two, SRN #5293 & MB 4013. The SRN car is an older prototype, as it still has an ACII board.

Th one thing that bothers me is the glossy finish, the Walthers & LBF cars I recently reviewed have a dull finish, and the Atlas a more satin finish.
