Description: Paired 50' Airslide Covered Hoppers, in Walthers' Ready to Run line. Cars have different road numbers, that do not match up with the single car pack, thus (at the time) creating 3 separate road numbers.

Pros: Ready to run, well detailed, very crisp paint, separate numbers from single car pack
Cons: Molded on grabs, plastic wheels (pre-gold line RTR)

I've always loved these "boxcar like" Airslides, Walthers makes the only one I know of available in HO scale. Walthers has offered these cars in many ways too, from the original kit form, to RTR (which I have) and now into the Gold Line (RTR with metal wheels and separately added grabs, from what I hear).

I have a total of 6 Airslides now, two single pack kits, one 2 pack kit (which was custom painted by the previous owner), and now the RTR 2 pack. The RTR's are the best in my mind, because I didn't have to assemble them! However the RTR's only difference from the kits, is, well its assembled.

My 2 pack is lettered for Milwaukee Road, road numbers 109952 & 109995. A previous kit version was lettered for MILW, and numbered 97204. I'm not sure which ones are numbered in an appropriate number for MILW cars.

Over all the RTR cars are nice, and worth the $15.00 I paid for them.
