Pros: WELL detailed, metal wheels, airlines, Ect.
Cons: Higher cost then most RTR

I've been wanting Genesis equipment for sometime, and finnaly got it in this product. I bought the SP/UP version.

The Paint is crisp, and clean, with all lettering being readable.

The box car comes with all airlines, and brake cables on the underframe, and even has the air line to connect cars. Plug Door latches and ladders are separate details. The car even comes with uncoupling levers, and the brake platforms. Lastly, it comes with metal wheels and "rolling" roller bering end caps, that are attached to the axle. This feature should be common throughout the Genesis line.

I highly recommend this Genesis car to anyone who is a fan of modern box cars.

Pros: Great detail, weight, paint
Cons: Details are EXTREMELY fragile

Fine boxcar from Athearn but be very careful while handeling the car because the details can break off very easily; they are all made out of cheap plastic. But the paint and decals are very crips and lots of details make this a key competetor to the Intermountain line of detailed cars.
