Description: The Walthers Tri-Level Auto Rack is a nice model that looks and runs well.
The kit comes with metal wheels and knuckle style couplers.
All the details and molded on, or already applied so there is no drilling and gluing needed.
The printing is very nice. The car is available in one and two packs for a total of three different numbers.

Pros: Good all round car
Cons: none really

This is realy the only option for an enclosed auto rack. The kit is nice and runs well. The couple heights need some work for reliable operations. Flat track and big curves are also recomended.
With the number of auto racks on the rails, I would like to see more numbers. I also wish they would bring back the Bi-Level racks.

Pros: Crisp paint and lettering, comes in a varity of road names
Cons: Looks a bit too plasticy, thick laders, swinging coupler boxs

A good car for auto trains. Weighted in a about 7 oz. Rolls fine, easy to handel, not much detail is going to break off, the detail is sturdy and heavy-duty. One downside is that the coupler boxes move which helps these cars run on tighter curves. However, for my purposes, I had to drill and screw the coupler boxes so they would not swivel.

Pros: agree with above
Cons: wrong trucks

The car come with 100 ton truck side frames with 28" wheels. If you use Athearn impack trucks (Ath #90396) with the stock wheels the car looks better & is more correct. I have done this to all (32) trilevel racks I run & its easy to do.
