supersize

Description: The Walthers Trinity Cement Hopper is a decent model for the price. The painting is nice and clear. The kit comes with metal wheels and knuckle style couplers.
The end ladder detail is thick so it doesn't look as good as some models, but is much stronger.
The kit comes with wire formed grab irons and air lines that can be added to the model to improve its appearance. Some drilling, gluing and paint is needed.

Pros: Sturdy inexpensive hopper
Cons: Etched metal walkways would be nice

This is a nice model. Especially for use on a club layout or if handled alot. The add-on details are well marked and easy to apply. I would really like to see etched metal walkways and end platforms. Athearn is doing them on some new RTR kits, so I hope Walthers will follow suit.
