This is one of the first container car kits I purchased in my life. Building the kit was very simple (although you can see I never completed it, I plan to super detail...). All that was required was a flat head scre driver & some plastic glue. The walkways are think, and have poor detail, but that is common with these earlier kits (mid-late 90's).
One thing I have to note, you have to watch the trucks carefully, because the center trucks are 125T, and have larger 36" wheels, where as the outer trucks are 100T and have the common 33" wheels.
Be sure to not overtighten the center trucks, as you can ruin the pins needed to hold the cars togeather, I almost did!
If you're interested in these kits, remember that they'll require some added weight, as they are very very light. This can be accomplished by adding weight to a container, but doing so, makes it so that you cannot run the cars in a bare table train. I have yet to see if I can add weight w/o having to add a container.
