Pros: This is simply a great car.
Cons: Could use some more underbody piping.

Simply put this car has got to the the best RTR car to date produce by Athearn.
The car features etched metal walkways, scale size grab irons and side bracing as well as the Grade Crossing Safety Stripes along the side of the car.The couplers are McHenry scale upper and lower shelf design couplers with knuckle springs. The car is near the NMRA weight and extremely free rolling
I did not see any way of taking this car apart to add weight.
My only regret about this car is I didn't order the 3 pack.
MSRP $24.98.
Average street price is $17.99

Pros: Crisp Detail, Paint, Decals. Includes weight and metal wheels
Cons: Could become pricy if a unit ethanol train was built.

A very nice car from Athearn. Crisp details, paint and decals make this a very attractive car for modern modelers (build date is June 2005). Metal wheels are included, and the car features UTLX's new slogen, "The Tank Car People". The car weighed in at 4.75 ounces, rolled very nicely and had a center of gravity of 33. Highly recommended.

Pros: Nice details, crisp paint job, runs well
Cons: plastic shelf style couplers

This is a very nice addition to the RTR lineup. The metal grab irons and etched platforms realy sell this car.
I don't like the look of the shelf couplers as they are too big and out of scale. But changing couplers is easy.
