Great model. The low $ I paid at the LHS attributed to no sound and that it was not with full decoder, but it can be easily added.

at this point I can not think of anything positive to say about this engine model line.

poor quality compared to other brands, especially considering the premium price.

Based on my experience with the Genesis SD-70MAC and the SD-70ACE w/Tsunami, it is my opinion that the Genesis series is of no better quality than their 2nd tier line. Seriously, I have a cheapo Bachmann GP-40 that came with a cheapo set that runs smoother and more quietly. I am a huge Athearn fan, but these are a disappointment.
