Description: This is Athearn's 141 foot auto max. The prototype, built by Gunderson and produced since 1999, is a more economical car and can hold 22 cars per unit, 20' above the tracks. Requires a 22 inch radius to curve, recommend 24. Mostly discontinued off of Athearn's website, this model appears to remain present in LHSs until the stock sells out. MSRP = 60.00 USD

Pros: High detail, safety stripes and laser sharp prints are great, detail, realism
Cons: the darker holes are printed while they can be tooled to be 3d and textured; center articulation is too loose

I really was intrigued when I first saw this set at my hobby store. The detail was right and I was not disappointed, only for a minor flaw with the black dots representing holes, that can be tooled easily as the etch metal "walkway" much like the ones seen in their spine cars, for example. Otherwise, I was very happy and look forward to running it on my finalized layout.
