Sadly I paid a convince fee (extra $1 compared to MSRP), darn LHS.
Anyways, I bought this item, because I was trying to find a better solution to cutting the foam for my layout. I was getting frustrated with the saw mess, and the lack of cutting ability on a short Xacto.
This thing works like a dream. It's cutting the foam smooth, and with great ease. If you're not up to buying a hot knife, I'd say this is the way to go.
