Description: Tweezer-Like Nipper Desprues the Tiniest Parts
A gentle squeeze is all that's required to safely separate even the tiniest molded part from its sprue. Finely-ground double-honed tips reach into the tightest locations and flush cut the plastic so that further clean-up is not required. Custom made for Micro-Mark of the highest-quality satin finish stainless steel. For use on plastic sprues only.

Pros: Works cleanly, efficiently, comes with safety closing band and storage sleve
Cons: Works well only on thin sprues

I love this product! Some of the cleanest cuts I've ever got. Not even a brand new #11 Xacto compares!

One minor issue, are thick sprue's, but anything with a really thick sprue can be chopped out with a straight blade (I use an Xacto #18) with out risking damage. This nipper is designed for those thin parts you might damage.

Great item, I'd recommend getting one. Best bet, ask for it for Christmas, my wife loved getting me tools, as she knows I'll use them!

Pros:
Cons:

I agree, that these sprue cutters are a must for modeling with plastic. I have had mine for about 2 years and they still do an excellent job on small items such as: ladders, fence, handrails, air lines, any tiny parts that need a close and clean cut.
