Default Hello from the Ottawa region! :-)

Hello everyone,

I've been modelling plastic kits for a number of years but I always had a crush on trains. I finally have a place to call my own and able to build a layout.

My main interest is for short lines and specifically the QGRY that operates in my home region (altho, less and less). I'd like to model some of the activities that goes on around here with a little bit of freelance.

I haven't started on drafting the layout yet but I have a pretty good idea of what I'm looking for. I'm in the process of collecting the various engines and rolling stocks that will populate my little empire.

I hope to get as much advice as I can in these forums from experts like you guys. So far, the posts I've read were pretty interesting.

Cheers,

Welcome.

Short lines can be very interesting. Look forward to some pics of what you will be modelling and the building of your layout.
