Default Weathered SP GP30 HO Scale Proto 2000

Gently used Proto 2000 GP30, road name Southern Pacific #5017. Weathered with Chalks and sealed with Testors Dullcoat to resemble the notorious "Donner Grime" that the Espee was famous for. Gently used, great condition. All parts are there EXCEPT for the sunshades, but could use some detailing if you like your road units ultra realistic. The handrails are the very thin plastic and the corners are coming loose here and there. I could glue them back, but I'll leave that up to the buyer. If it were me, I'd replace them with Smokey Valley stanchions and brass wire, but I don't model the Espee, and have no desire to keep this one. I have only ran it once on my brothers layout and then it sat for years in a display case with the rest of my collection. However, new power means less room for stray cats like this one, so time to find it a good new home that'll appreciate it for what it is and run the wheels off of it. May need a lube job before it goes to work; it's sat for years in the display cabinet. Equipped with Kadee #5 couplers but no other aftermarket details. I'll let your road's shops deal with that as your road foreman of engines sees fit.

No original box (although I will check again in the morning), however, you'd have to remove the shell to put it back in its original Proto box anyway, so why? Model will be carefully wrapped, and packed in a suitable box for transport and storage. No reserve, low biding price for a fairly rare model. Please refer to photos for condition. What you see is what you get, but rest assured, you'll get a nice SP model.
