Default MRC Sound Decoders

I have had a MRC sound Decoder installed in one of my Heritage Steamers. Although not the sound quality of a Sound traxx or qsi, it worked fine for the price. The other night it just stopped working, I can put it on the programming track and read back based upon page mode, but that is all it will do.

Short of sending it back, any ideas?
