I am currently looking to purchase a model engine with the HBRY colors. Would anyone know where I may purchase one. I have a co-worker that is an avid railroad enthusiast and would like to purchase for him. Any information on this would be greatly appreachiated.
Thanks in advance. greg |

I assume you mean the Hudson Bay Railway. To my knowledge, the only company to have made prepainted engines in the HBRY scheme is Railcraft Canada, using Walthers Proto 2000 engines. They have all been been very limited runs since the HBRY is not the most popular railraod in the modeling world. You can can contact them at http://www3.telus.net/wrdixon/mr/hudsonbay.html to find out about availability and prices. There have been models produced in N scale and HO scale so you should know which scale your friend uses before buying.

Thanks very much for the quick reply. I truly appreachiate you taking the time to help me out. I am not a railroad modeler, but am currently building remote control ships and learning to fly remote controlled helicopters. After contructing a couple of scale boats as a sinter project, I can only imagine what is involved in your hobby.
Once again, thanks very much for the lead with the HBRY engine. Greg |
