Default Rapido Trains interview on Model Railroad Hobbyist

http://model-railroad-hobbyist.com/comments_rapido

The interview with Jean Seo covers the TurboTrain, several of their new passenger cars, and the Totally Wired Telephone Poles, as well as a bit of the history of Rapido.

Cool video. Rapido has certainly made a name for themselves in well detailed passenger cars. The Totally Wired Telephone Poles are an interesting concept as well although, at $35 for every five feet of poles, you either need deep pockets or a short mainline.

Jean made a wee mistake in the interview - its $35 for every 5 *meters* of poles, or about 16 feet of mainline. You can watch a video on YouTube of us installing the poles on our display layout. Just search on YouTube for rapidotrains.

Best regards,

Jason

Thanks for the update Jason - I've posted it in the thread over on the MRH site.

Ah, $35 for every 5 meters is much more reasonable. Thanks for clarifying that, Jason. I'm looking forward to seeing those poles in person. It looks like an almost foolproof way to set up wired poles. Having done many of them by stringing wire (or thread) by hand, it looks like the results come out much better with your product. This is one of those cases where DIY doesn't make for a better model.
