Mark,

Very nice collection! I'm a little jealous...

For years, I built 1/72 scale military aircraft. When I was a kid, Dad let me hang them from the ceiling in my bedroom.

Now I'm quite a bit older... been married for nearly 30 years. I still have quite a few kits to build... but my dear wife won't let me hang them in our bedroom. Women!

Regards,
Tom Stockton

I got it from The Caboose in Wolcott, CT. You can see more pics of it here. http://www.modelrailroadforums.com/f...t=19353&page=7

How much $600.00. I wanted to buy 2 when they were first offered but $1,200.00 was a little over my budget. I ran them on the NYC Harlem Line for 12 years 1969 to 1981. They ran mostly in pairs.

It was $667 back around 2005 when i got it, I wanted 2 but ended up with 1. I remember towing the 2023 to the Ct Eastern Railway Museum several years ago and after seeing it I wanted a model of one. I did look for a couple Amtrak ones around the same time but they were sold out.
