Is there a "normal" sized shoe?
![]() 16x35mm is the "standard" size to fit in long hoods. Some speakers are deeper than others, and some locomotives have limited space to install sound in. The Athearn GP60M can have the speaker firing up out of the fans. If your Dash 8-40CW is an Atlas, then it has two handy dandy holes for you to put round speakers into.

Are those the ones in the "A" configuration for about 1 1/4" speakers? That design has always amazed me at the quality it produces.
