Default Anyone Ever Done Business with these people?

http://www.aliexpress.com/

Found the above looking for inexpensive streetlights for my layout. Boy, they sure do have some! (And figures and trees and cars) Any US dealers?

Gary I was just about to delete the link as SPAM as there was little I found about Model Railroading unless it was Thomas Tank engine stuff. I did come across this set of figures (1/100 scale) a little small for HO, butif someone was interested.
Could you be more specific with the link to model rail stuff.

A little more research, it does look legit. Parent Company's home page, China no doubt about that

If anyone orders stuff from them, please keep us posted on this forum please.

Prices look fantastic and they offer a lot of stuff (check out the plastic building material) but... They ARE in China and I've never heard of them. Plus I really don't need 200 street lights. 100 max.

I bought some lamps over the summer and did some research first. I'm pretty sure you can get some of those items from wehonest_us in smaller quantities from eBay. I think that's the same company. If there's something you really want, but can't get from the eBay store, you might want to buy those large quantitites and sell off at what you don't want on eBay.

Find somebody else that needs streetlights and split the order. Problem solved.

Watch out for the figures. They're cheap, easy to break, and have very little detail to them. Also watch out for some German companies importing them and selling them as Presier figures.

Thanks guys, my biggest concern was if they are reparable and I didn't have to worry about losing my money. If I did buy their minimum quantities it would change my way of thinking from how few I can get away with to where can I use some more! It appears no one here has any direct experience with the company, although Eric you seem to know about the figures. I have heard rumors that there is an importer whose figures end up making your layout look like Chinatown.
