Steve, Correct. Always should be having fun!

RR, This is the finish of my mainline loop. If it dead ended then all this work is for not. I'm going to glue the track down today and give my 4-4-0 a go tomorrow. No scenery this time until it works. Jim

Lounging around this AM I saw some good light coming in through the skylight and just using my desk lamp I produced this photo.

Something for the computer wallpaper if you want. Jim

That looks good Jim. Almost looks like it was shot outside.

Thanks fellows. Steve, it was shot outside.

Remember the pond? Here is a photo of the pond all dried and ready to serve. Using ground covers as a base for ponds and lakes has some good merits. Jim

Another update. Here's the view of the weights on the last of the ballasted track. My 4-4-0 goes around the engine house curve with no problems.

About all I have left is making a dam around the blue board and pouring water. Another trip to my LHS for water! Also, some more track tuning. Seems like everytime I run the 4-4-0 around the loop something else goes wrong.

Tomorrow I will post a photo of the prizes for the 50,000 views I promised. The contest will be correct this time. Basically the same as last time. Something will be different. You have to tell us what it is. Jim

Toot, You should be jealous! This Mikita drill is the best tool I've ever owned. It was especially handy when I lived on my sailboat. It get's in tight places. Not sure they make them anymore. This is my second one in twenty years. Jim

CONTEST, CONTEST, announcement. As promised when we got 50,000 views I would have another contest. The contest will take place NEXT Saturday, (a week from today), at 1500 PDT. This should accommodate our friends from Downunder, as it will be Sunday for them. I don't know of any participants from Europe, but they will have to set their alarm clocks.

The two photos will be posted at 1500 PDT here on the US West Coast.

Each photo is nearly identical. You have to find TWO differences in the second photo.

FIRST person to correctly describe the two differences will be declared the winner.

If contestants can only find one differences each then the two prizes will be shared. First response gets first choice.

I don't expect anything other than one person getting both answers so that person will win both of these prizes:

The building is the laser cut building that appeared on the ore tipple scene earlier. The log car is one six I have and is scratch built. Good luck, Jim
