Default New HO Scaler from all over... Currently in El Paso

I'm new to the Forum. I thought I would introduce myself and my experience so far in model railroading. I first gained interest seeing my great uncle's American flyer/Lionel setup in his basement. He is no longer with us and that always stuck with me about him. While serving in the army I found some spare time on my hands after moving to the country in GA near FT Stewart. I was instantly hooked after saving up money and my first purchase was a BLI SD40-2 paragon 2 DCC w/ sound, basic command DCC station and I started building a 4x8 table. That was in 2010 just before getting married and having my first child. I am now up to a 128 sq ft layout in my garage. I sometimes wish I could strike it rich and blow a fortune on a huge layout but I enjoy the space I have. I seem to dabble in a little of all eras to include steam and modern but mostly enjoy the relaxing chore of continuously building and adding on structures. My layout although big and bulky is all mobile and has survived many military PCS moves (my wife complains but it's a good workout moving it). Pictures comming soon once I am able to upload
