Default Life long train fan!

Well, I signed into this forum last year (?) in hopes of coming to grips with my last hurrah.

I had been in the military, so building anything more than a 8x4 was out of the question. Built a basement filler in Chicago..... then lost the house. Moved down here and built my present layout..... too many mistakes.

THEN had by right knee replaced a year and a half ago and had a heart attack and a stroke half a year ago. (What fun!)

Not dismayed, I intend to build a railroad approx 14 x 32 in a separate building. (Hopefully before I die! Heh heh.) In the meantime, I will continue to work on buildings and rolling stock for my present layout..... but will not decorate the layout. Since the new layout is a larger version of the present one, I can work out the "mistakes" prior to moving operations.

Pics of present layout forthcoming.

Don

Well Don good luck with getting it done. Post those pictures. Even if you never finish it at least you've had a rewarding hobby for a lifetime.

Ain't it the truth!

Hang in there, seems like you had a lot of roadblocks thrown in your way. But just keep on pounding up that 3% grade. I wish you the best of luck!

..oh yeah, I 'second' the call for photos!
