Question Antenna covers???

Trying to find some older antenna domes for a CSX Dash 8 40c, #7587 to be exact. I have pics of some and they are smaller than these that come on the newer units.These also have a large cable coming out of the roof and running over to them, almost like a hose... Any suggestions would really help. I've looked at Details West and Detail Associates with no luck.Thanks!!

Default Thanks

Thanks switchman! I've seen this and although it's not exactly what I was looking for, it may have to do. The one I need has a round dome mounted on a flat rectangle base. The cable seems to end just short of the dome. All else looks the same. As I said these will probably have to suffice. On a lighter note.... it seems we have dodged a bullet with Issac, thank goodness!! Hope you and yours stays safe if it turns north. Thanks again for the reply

Sammy,

Found a picture of what your looking for;
http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/sho...spx?id=3039150

Don't think that part is made? Looks like that unit also has a wide cone, and whip antennas.

Like these;

I think you'll have to scratch build your part from styrene.

I live near Gulf Shores, AL, so we got off pretty easy with the storm! I may pass through Brewton tommorrow. I drive a truck, and have a load for Andalusia tommorrow.

Lets see some pictures of your #7587 when you get done!
