Thread: Athern HO truck kits

  1. Default Athern HO truck kits

I am looking for a few of the old out of production Athern truck kits, either the freightliner cab overs, or the Kenworth kits.
I am a retired truck driver and used to drive the older KW's like these kits, they were model 925's. I did the heavy haul stuff. HO kits are smaller than the larger 1/25th kits, far less expensive, and take up way less space on shelves.
Anyway, if someone has one or several they don't want or need and would be willing to sell, please contact me.

As a suggestion, you could wait until the next train show near where you are. Vendors that stock old Athearn BB kits almost always have at least a few of the tractors.

Give AA Hobbies in Warwick RI a try. They had several of those kits the last time I was there about 3 weeks ago. They also have the Walthers Flexi Van 40 footer kits too.

Tues - Fri 10AM to 8PM, Sat 10AM to 6PM. Sorry I don't have a phone number right on hand but they advertise in Model Railroader and Railroad Model Craftsman under the state listings at the back.

    Sorry for the thread jack...

Thanks NH Mike for the LHS info! I live in Bristol county, ma. They are getting fewer and further between these days. I used my dads trains in wrentham, ma but he's usually not open due to health.
