All new parts were ordered thru intermountain and athearn. IM, once again is unbelievable! I mean I had credit card in hand and said I will pay. They are sending everything i need to me at no charge. Athearn, $70.
My dealings with InterMountain have been very good, but yours is outstanding! They have definitely set the standard for customer service. Lucky everything wasn't Athearn.

I was cleaning up the apartment and had 4 models on my dining room table. I put all 4 in the closet on the 3rd shelf (bout 3 feet of the ground). Went back to table to put some small stuff in my toolbox when I heard the thump and scatter of parts. I knew it was the models and seeing the athearn roof on the floor confirmed it. Which cat, i have no idea. It wasn't malicious or anything, i should've closed the door cause they like to go in and sniff around.

You live and you learn. Parts will be hear after vacation and engines will head to the repair shop for warranty work. Anyone know where to get those "under warranty" decals if they exist? lol

Steve we had 2 cats many years ago. One was quite interested in watching me test run an engine. After I stopped it I turned away for a moment and when I looked back he was pawing at it, probably wondering why it wasn't moving. Luckily he didn't knock it over or harm it in any way but that was the last time he was ever in the train room. Everything is either a toy or prey for them I guess.

Glad to hear IM took care of you.

YIKES!!! if they were mine I woulda honestly religated the Athearn engines to the bone yard or the junky yard that I plan to place on my layout for the wreaked out engines, but glad your getting them back up and runing!!
