    Thanks for all the comments. Fair point about the wheels and trucks, next time ill try a more oily look.
    I already have plans for my next box car, i think it will have a more faded look rather than rusty.

    I also like the rust bubbles, how did you get that effect? I don't cover the reporting marks with the graffiti (you're close) because it makes identification harder if you're into operations. Most graffiti artists(?) don't either because that's the quickest way to get a RR to paint over it.

    I used a small piece of sponge and dabbed the paint on. Dont use too much paint on the sponge keep it fairly dry.

    Impressive... keep up the good work. Excellent being your first go at weathering. Trucks do look alittle too bright tho. Like the others have said just tone that down alittle.
