  1. Default Police called because train was interrupting church

My friend in Warren,AR heard on the scanner that someone called the police because the train interrupted church service yesterday.Of course the police didn't respond to the call.I think I know what church it was because I turned around in the parking lot and the church is at a crossing with crossbucks.

People are in a hurry to get everywhere, weather it's church, home, grocery store. And soccer mom's are the worst! They'll run you over with their big SUV's.

Did they expect the police to pull the train over?
Maybe the cops should have and held up the crossing for longer.

If the intersection isn't designed and posted as a "no horn" zone, the engineer HAS to blow the horn.
The intersection on N. 33rd, just south of Cornhusker Hwy. here in Lincoln is designed and constructed so that there is no possible way a car can get past the gates when they are down. It is a designated "no horn" intersection.
