Got the Zephyr and running DCC/sound SD60M. How do activate the sound/function 10-on up. Either Im reading I need to get the DT400 or I'm not finding how to do it. Its an MRC with I think 14 functions.

The zephyr by itself only handles up to 10 functions (F0-F8) You can add a throttle like a DT400 for functions F0-F12 or a DT402 for F0-F28
 
I also bought resistor and ran it from rail A to B programming track for the newer decoders and sound. Like the manual said. But its still not reading my decoder?
 
you need a booster, not a resistor to program certain sound decoders. The booster is only needed for QSI, MRC, Soundtraxx, Loksound, and Digitrax sound decoders. Regular decoders without sound do not need the booster. Broadway Limited Blueline does not need the booster and will not program if a booster is used.

The booster should be on a toggle switch so that it can be turned on and off as needed.
