What is your favorite Building on your layout?

If I can figure out how to post a photo, I will.
If the photo is stored on your computer, click the "Attach files" button below the reply box. Locate the photo on your computer and click on it. It will automatically upload, and when finished you will see two buttons. One will attach a thumbnail photo, and the other will attach a full-size photo to your post. I always choose the full size option.
If the photo is stored on a third party hosting site, follow the procedure for the site you use.

On my HO it is this one

I have no buildings or structures of any kind on my O-Scale 2-Rail 127-foot Folded Dogbone layout.

My layout represents the desolate wilderness of the High Mojave Desert where I live. The only man-made feature on my railroad is the Track.

This may sound stupid to you "City Builders", but to me, there is but one focus on any model railroad layout: THE TRAIN!

Some really nice modeling here........Only two structures on my layout right now so the choice is easy, my favorite would be this sand tower by Diamond Scale Con. of Oakridge Ore. I picked this kit up somewhere around 10-12 years ago in anticipation of building a layout. The company has moved a couple of times, eventually landing in Alliance Ohio

Thanks to Railroad Pony for bringing this thread back to life. I have many favorites on my layout, but I would guess that the smallest is my most favorite. It is a rather old white metal casting kit from Woodland Scenics called Tommy's Tree House. I had it for over 15 years before I finally built it in 2021.

Added figures are unpainted Preiser figures. Only Tommy (on the tire swing) and the dog came with the kit.

I really liked building the kit from Model Tech Studios that you see on the pier. The company has a spotty reputation, but I have never had an issue with them. In fact, the barges, pushers, navigation buoys and the crane where the barge is parked, all came from them.

Omg choose one, well ilike plenty of my ready to plonk, but I suppose the kits are the winners, so which kit, just one
well knightwing make a lot of British kit, and I have a British layout, and I suppose this one (although it is a tough call) I like it more than some of my scratchbuild stuff, fit had an option roof, the bits do the job well, and the one it represents also has concrete gone green

Went back to the beginning of this thread. Great buildings, structures, track and IBKen’s brass structures! All outstanding.

One of my most enjoyable scratch builds was just a warehouse facade facing the tracks. It isn’t finished as the layout is down, but here’s as far as I got
