What is your favorite Building on your layout?

The title says it all, what is your favorite building/structure on your layout?

My Walthers Turntable and Roundhouse. Well, it -would- be, if I ever actually got around to building a place for it and installing it.

I'm in your situation, have lots of great structures and no where for them to sit at the moment. Got to get the lead out and do something about that.

The old mine pictured left...it just needs some more exterior lighting. It's elevated on the layout to eye level so it demands attention.

i would have to say it's my Walther's packing plant. I built it about a year and a half ago. As it turned out, I did a lot of modifications that proved not to be necessary, but it was a fun build! (Most of the time.)

Mine is probably this scratch built freight station. I couldn't find any kits that I liked or even some to kit bach so I went into my bin of sheet and wood shapes and built this.

When I was about 14-16 (over 60 years ago!), I built a meat-packing plant from an article in Model Railroader. It is made entirely of balsawood, but made to look like brick! I scribed each and every brick using a #2 pencil, then painted the wood with Floquil boxcar red. If I can figure out how to do so, I'll try to post photos.

Was this building looking like an "L" laying on it;s long side and did it have a concrete pillar structure with brick in between?
If so, then I built the same structure except I used a brick paper.

I think I have two. One for the amount of time and effort I put into it and I'm proud of the way it turned out.
The second a gentleman put a lot of time and effort and I'm sure he was proud of. I only purchased it from his estate but am proud to give it a good home on my layout.
