Started these 3 Intermountain gons yesterday AM…finished this AM…
did them all at the same time for continuity...about 3 hours total work….
Plus an hour scouring the floor for a lost truck screw..found it

From a real interaction in my house last year (might be familiar to some of you). Me, being interrupted while working in solitude on some N scale thing:

“Stop. You are interrupting me while I am trying to insert The Impossible Screw. The Impossible Screw holds down The Infernally Small Part. The Infernally Small Part holds in The Impossible Spring. The Impossible Spring will launch if The Infernally Small Part flinches. I am holding these things together by fingertip until The Impossible Screw is installed. I wish to lose none of these things. Please leave now. If you leave now, the blame will be only upon me for any loss of The Impossible Screw, Infernally Small Part, or Impossible Spring. We will all be happier if you let me do this right now.”

Amazingly, my family still thinks this hobby somehow relaxes me.
