after laying down enamel paint, what is the minimum wait time before you can put another color over it on model plastic?

Another coat, same color…60 minutes
Different color…12 hours
Ideally you want the same amount of time between each coat and color. 24 hours gives best results. Allowing the enamel to properly harden is the key to a successful painting process.

You can try 6 hours. Use a scrap piece of plastic or a junk shell. The time I paint by is the way that works for me. Everyone has their own way.
