Ah, morons in every county. Nice to know that we don't have a monopoly on them.
Nearly collected the flagman as well, I'll bet he'll be looking the other way in future, too.

As an insurance agent I hear a lot of those stories.
A young woman (18ish) client called to say that a train hit her. The crew on the train stated she was asleep behind the wheel at the crossing. Her leg must have relaxed, released pressure from the brake, and she rolled into the side of the train that was moving at 5 MPH. She said it was the train's fault.

It was, it should have stopped and woken her up, careless of them.
