Scratch Building a Turnout

I know, I'm a bad community member. I disappear for months at a time and then show up acting like I'm trying to sell something...

Just so you all know, I am still at it. Two small kids and basement flood and all. In fact, here a video that I have been working on (for the last six months) that I finally got finished.

Great! I'm glad it helped you out.
Building turnouts is one of those things that seems really daunting, but once you dive in, it's really not that hard. Just takes a bit of tuning to get them just right.

On my website I have the handout I made for a clinic I gave on switch building. I have used the PC board ties in the past but haven't used them for the last 150 or so switches I've built.

Wow. You may have solved an issue for me. That's pretty straightforward. I have everything except the pc board.
I found your patterns. Now to get the pc board.
