Here is a great little Youtube presentation that appeared on a brass forum site:

My S Scale B&O EM-1 pulls a long train on my new layout
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=699NBq3WCFA

Here is my first video from my new layout. It
was a real "shelf clearer". I drug them **all** out and is by far the
longest train I have ever run in my house. I will let you count the cars.
Some of the cars have probably never been run since I bought or finished
them. There are another 15+ cars that could be and eventually will be in
this train but they are not painted or needed some TLC I could not quickly
provide to run it last night.

You could also subtitle it "I finally made my EM-1 slip!" In reality the
EM-1 DID pull this train alone but it was slipping a bit. The helpers just
added a bit to the effect and the moving of the train. Now that I have the
layout I should probably go through the cars and make sure **all** of the
axles are oiled. In spite of a true helper operation nothing derailed. This
train has at least 5 laps run without issue before I called it a night.

There are only 2 cars in this train that are NOT brass & none are wood. Care
to guess which ones? 1 car should be easy to spot. The other - one not as
easy? When I say not brass -because it is really STEEL! It started out as an
open hopper drag and I added other cars to it. I painted almost all of the
cars so you are watching 20+ years of my painting roll past you. I would say
that the train is 30 feet long.

For those that think the 1 amp Tsunami is not up to the task I say
poppycock! This is the Heavy used as a single decoder stuffed in the boiler
with a RailMaster deep bass speaker pointed right up the stack. If this
train does not turn a Tsunami into a smoke unit nothing will!

Is S scale secretly reserved for modelers of the northeast?

Looks good! I kept catching myself trying to look at the train from different angles. "Oh, what's in there? Oh yeah, flat video ..." :D

You may want to see if your camera can disable auto-focus. The constant 'focus finding' was causing the video to be out of focus more than in focus. Also, if it has a 'macro' setting (usually denoted by a little flower icon) it will be able to focus much more closely than without 'macro', which helps to show off the finer details of models.

That is not my video, but rather one that appeared on a 'brass forum discussion', and I thought there might be some interest in that scale on this forum.

You might consider adding your comments to that YouTube presentation?
