I'm waiting for a mailing box from Dell after talking with them last night. The hard drive is dead, dead, dead. Unfortunately that means I have probably lost my photo album.

The horse is out of the barn, but when you get the repaired/new one, set up automatic backups to an external hard drive and/or the cloud.
