Good Afternoon Everyone.....sunny and cold here in this part of Wisconsin. I didn't get inspired today like I thought I would yesterday and I''m still siting in the home office on the PC. This cold of mine is getting worst. Just feel rather weak and heavy legs.
Tomorrow the Mrs is taking a day bus trip to a Casino that's actually near our cabin. She will be gone all day, so maybe I'll get downstairs for at least a half a day. Hope she wins some $$$. I like the bus trips myself and would like to drive a tour bus someday.
I'm trying to master how the expert weathering guys get that combo of black and rusting on the tops of their locomotives....like the staining by the rear stack. I'm not positive which comes first in the applications of colors.
A nice weathered Santa Fe locomotive for Willie's layout!-Greg
Maybe later a video on John Allen or Howard Zane to get inspired. I'm starting to master the remote control unit that came with our television. We only have a 32 inch in the living room by the fireplace to watch packer games, but would like to have a 60 inch installed on a ceiling pole in front of the fireplace.
That's all for now....
