Review: Kato Maxi-IV's


Thanks Josh. I've been shopping well cars lately. I've seen these as low as $65 but haven't felt the need to sink that kind of money into a fleet yet.
 
$54 from MB Klein! I got my needed Rix overpass at the same time and didn't pass $100.

I'm still on the look out for the first run of Athearn Maxi-I's in TTX, or Maersk.
 
Josh those Maersk, did they come out at the end of last year? If I had known, the local shop I goto *HAD* like 5 boxes of the maersk units. I thought about picking 1 pack up but they were like close to$100.
 
Yeah, sometime last year. There's 2 releases now, the first run had Maersk cars, the 2nd had SP & SFLC (Santa Fe) repaints of those MAEX cars. I'd prefer the MAEX ones, but the SFLC will do.
 
Nice write up, you gave a link for MB Klien a few weeks ago in a thread I started. I almost pulled the trigger on a couple but have waited. IM with etched walks is a no brainer.....again thanks for the heads up on Kline and the Kato's
