Hi,

My father wants to sell his old Marklin trains and all that stuff :)

Can anyone tell me of a good online resource where we can price all the items he has.

Thanks

-Brad C.

I am in Charlotte, NC
if there are any good resources near me can you please tell me those also.

Thanks again

(I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section, Mods, feel free to move)

As rotor said, check e-bay and search for the model numbers of the equipment. Some old Marlin trains are quite valuable, depending on condition, and others are very common. One of the things you can do is post some pics and model numbers here and see what some of the guys who are familiar with Marklin think. In general, having really valuable model trains is about as likely as hitting the jackpot on a slot machine.

The model numbers are the numbers on the sides of the boxes, Correct??

Like for example, one of the engines has the number 3037 on the side, should I search ebay for something along the lines of "Marklin model train 3037"?

Thanks
-Brad

Yes, that's a good start. Also look on the bottom on the engines and cars an see if they have model numbers or names.
