PCM SD7 B&O - quick colour question

i'm looking at the PCM SD7 for the B&O and the print pictures makes it have a brighter blue than i thought it would be. my question is... does it have that colour or is it a blue like the C&O's or the normal B&O blue.

Normal B&O blue is what it should be. They may have lightened up the print to better bring out the detailing. After all look at the wheels, Rust color I would expect, but Red? I don't think so.

yeah i was thinking the same thing what with the red wheels. i was just looking for a second opinion. thanks

Broadway Limited is well known for having weird looking colors in their drawings. The models are usually pretty accuarate but they occasionally get some wierd colors there too. I'd get an actual picture or try to see one in person to check out the color before buying. To my knowledge, the B&O SD7's were painted exactly the same shade of dark blue as the GP-7's.

I still don't understand the "rust" colored wheels in the drawings, they don't paint them on the models...

it's to show the wheels. it wouldnt look right with just flat black through the whole set
