I got a confirmation of the shipment of my MTH O-Scale 2-Rail 4-6-2 Pacific this morning.

The shipping weight is 12 pounds for engine and tender.

I'll receive it on 10-16 from PDT, the Public Delivery Track, in Paso Robles, CA, my favorite O-Scale 2-Rail supplier. (They also sell 3-rail Lionel stuff)

Hey Hal, Lionel is now making conversion kits (3-rail to 2-rail) for many of their late model O scale locomotives.

Enjoy your new locomotive!
 
Thanks Bruette, that's good to know! I've always liked Lionel's detailing, but I never liked their unprototypical 3-rail track.

But this changes everything!

SantaFeWillie, here's a couple pictures of the left-hand loop of my 127-foot folded-dogbone layout, showing my 4-6-2 Pacific and my GP35 on the point.

I'm still placing boulders and gravel on the right-hand loop.
